Tattoo Aftercare

1) Take Saran Wrap off after 1 hour.

2) Gently wash area with non-scented anti-bacterial soap (like dial gold) and warm water. Pat dry with clean paper towel. Do not re-wrap tattoo or use any ointment yet. Wash daily.

3) The next morning, repeat step 2 if there is excess dry blood.

4) With clean hands, apply a very thin layer of A&D ointment 1-2 times a day for 3 days. Pat off any excess ointment.

5) After the 3 days of ointment, you can use non-scented lotion to moisturize. The tattoo will peel. Do not scratch or peel the tattoo. Avoid getting sunburnt and stay out of dirty water/ steam (beach, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, etc.) for at least 2 weeks to be safe.

If an infection occurs such as intense swelling, pain, redness, or unusual odor, please contact a medical professional immediately.
